Bangor University: 140 years of Collecting Art
01 February - 29 March 2025According to an article published by the Times Higher Education in 2005, Bangor University art collection is in the top ten of the best University art collections in the UK. The art collection consists of approximately 650 works, dating from the 17th to the 21st centuries, and is an important artistic and cultural asset for the University and for the whole of north Wales. This exhibition celebrates the 140th anniversary of the University and its art by displaying highlights from the collection.

By incorporating voice, samples, remixes Mr Phormula will weave a sonic soup that will make for an afternoon of amazing music

29 March 2025Joshua Gardner is a Californian native that has been living in Bnagor and has learnt welsh. His musical project Pioden (Magpie) is a vibrant mix of protest folk and punk that has wowed audiences and built up a loyal following .
