Bert Isaac, painter, illustrator, printmaker and inspirational art teacher, was born in Pontypridd, South Wales, in 1923. He was a prolific landscape painter, and favoured places that showed evidence of past human activity and industry, such as Dorothea Quarry.

Hopewell Ink is Kathy Hopewell, a novelist who writes the words, and David, an electronic sound artist who plays instruments including drums, guitar, and harmonium and creates soundscapes.
