LLiFT is an inclusive community group giving individuals the opportunity to play or just experience freely improvised ensemble music on a regular basis in Bangor North Wales and to explore wider interdisciplinary approaches to experimental music making.

LLiFT welcomes players of all ages and abilities who are interested in exploring new paths to music and emphasises that no prior experience is necessary to join our sessions.

We also want to encourage new audiences to casually pop in and share the experience with us too!

Our objectives are:

· To be an open forward-facing and community-focused group.

· To encourage new players and audiences to explore improvised music.

· To promote gigs under the LLiFT name and to provide a performance platform in North Wales for experimental musicians from the local region and beyond.

The reputation of the avant arts in Wales is steadily building year upon year and we feel that it is vital that Northwest Wales is adequately represented not just locally but internationally within this field.
