Arad Goch’s latest show by Alun Saunders for children aged 9 and up deals with identity and the Welsh language through the eyes of 3 young people.

“Growing up is enough of a challenge: finding out who you are, who you could be, and keeping up with homework…But when you have to present that in front of a whole school, where on earth do you start?” Cymrix is a production available in Welsh or bilingually aimed at children 9+ but it is also very suitable for New Welsh speakers of all ages. The production is truly accessible to Welsh and non-Welsh speakers alike.

Hirael – ‘Pobl Iawn’: Portraits and voices of Hirael

BLAS Pontio presents a project that has captured the wonderful community of Hirael, with support from Storiel. Film-maker Gwion Aled Williams and photographer Iolo Penri, have visited Hirael numerous times over the past year, getting a glimpse of the community and the people who live there.

Elements from my background and upbringing in Meirionnydd insist on inclusion in my work - the home and the farm; the celebrations and the clothing; the music and the Welsh culture; the family traditions and the familiar faces.
