Seen as one of the earliest Welsh language rock bands , Arfon Wyn’s pioneering folk rock compositions as well as tracks from the Pererin songbook. This will be a free concert and a warm welcome to all.
BLAS Pontio presents a project that has captured the wonderful community of Hirael, with support from Storiel. Film-maker Gwion Aled Williams and photographer Iolo Penri, have visited Hirael numerous times over the past year, getting a glimpse of the community and the people who live there.
A major exhibition of work by Jac’s Jac Jones, artist, illustrator and author at Storiel promises to be inspiring and surprising.
Roman mortaria were shallow bowls with curved rims, grit-embedded interiors for grinding sauces and wide pouring lips. I was interested in exploring these features, not for recreating the original or producing functional objects, but for meditating on form and function.
