As part of presentations on the historical meanings of place names in Eryri, Ieuan Wyn will discuss landscapes relating to the Coastal exhibition by Huw Jones
This lecture by the poet Ieuan Wyn will focus on the meanings and history of a number of place names in Eryri. There will be an opportunity to hear about the origins of some of the extremely rich names in the area and take a look at the history of the natural environment and early society, raising awareness of their value and the importance of protecting them for the future.
