Criw Celf is a scheme that develops and encourages young artists. By offering masterclasses by professional artists on weekends, the scheme provides an opportunity for children and young people to experiment with new techniques and gain confidence in their creative skills. It also provides an opportunity for members to make new friends in a friendly atmosphere, outside an educational setting.
Shown in this exhibition is a representation of work by Criw Celf groups in Gwynedd and Anglesey, created between January and June 2019. Criw Celf had 73 members in Gwynedd and Anglesey this year, from 12 primary schools, 16 secondary schools and one special school.
The Criw Celf scheme welcomes applications from any child between 10 and 14 years of age. If you would like more information about the scheme, please visit www.criwcelf.co.uk.
