Join us at Storiel for an artist talk with renowned artist Bedwyr Williams as he discusses his career from being in Saatchi Collection to representing Wales in 2005’s Vence Biennale

By incorporating mixed media and a variety of disciplines Bedwyr Williams weaves art, performance and research into a body of work tha responds to the serious as well as banality of life. Delving into his autobiographical memory bank his work is both personal as well as open to depiction.

This talk will be an opportunity to delve deeper into such works as Walk a Mile in My Shoes (2006) Curator Cadaver Cake (2012) a Tyrrau Mawr (2015)

BLAS Pontio presents a project that has captured the wonderful community of Hirael, with support from Storiel. Film-maker Gwion Aled Williams and photographer Iolo Penri, have visited Hirael numerous times over the past year, getting a glimpse of the community and the people who live there.
